One of the most interesting parts of my Olympic story is not about me, but it is about my uncle. In media interviews everywhere around the world, it is common for me to spend most or all of my time discussing our relationship.

Recently I was talking to a community group about the Olympics. One individual raised his hand and asked a question about the Olympics and "professional" athletes.

There is an old saying that when you get together with family, you should avoid conversation about religion and politics. In sports, it's a little different; the taboo topics are drugs and money.

If pentathlete Eli Bremer wants to become the first U.S. male to win an Olympic medal in his sport since 1960, he must improve his shooting.  Or suffer the same fate as the esteemed General Patton, 96 years ago.
